Freedom Kayak Adventure

Hire a Kayak for a self guided adventure. Or local historian and comic character Gavin Hopper can accompany you to add to your experience.

We have single person ride-on kayaks as well as tandem two person kayaks available. Hiring options range from 4 hours to 8 hours.

As a water sport, kayaking has some risks. Therefore, it is not suitable for unaccompanied children or for single adults without sufficient experience. If you are unsure if this activity is suitable for your group, please contact us to discuss it.

Paying customers enjoying our activities are welcome to park self-contained vehicles on our property for the night.

We have a current Adventure Life Skills Safety Management Plan in place. If you wish to see this, for peace of mind, please contact us or ask us to show you on the day.

Special rates or special conditions may be available to groups on request, such as a school with a number of adults able to supervise children in single person kayaks. Please call us to arrange a special booking.

Please be aware that the departure point is unmanned. You will need to book online or give us a call as you arrive. We live just across the creek. Apply some sun screen while you wait.
